If you’re coming to Oregon from out of state, it’s important to have a local agent with a thorough understanding of this housing market. I pride myself in being able to carefully assess your housing needs and begin the process of matching you with properties that meet your criteria.
Your first search will most likely be through the internet. This is the most efficient tool available to home buyers and professionals alike. I subscribe to a service called Homequest which actually allows you to pick the neighborhoods you wish to explore and set the parameters of your search. You can access Homequest by clicking here.
As you do, it will open more maps with specific neighborhoods listed. Those you click will be added to your search. Then, every day Homequest will send you the newest listings from those neighborhoods.
A general Real Estate overview tour is another great way to become familiar with the city and its special neighborhoods. By spending a morning, afternoon, or evening with me, you’ll develop an understanding of the housing market and its pricing structure.
I encourage you, if you are moving to the Portland area, to contact me and arrange a tour and learn what makes the Pacific Northwest so special to everyone that calls it home.
We at the Hasson Company also pride ourselves on being Temporary Housing option experts. We can reduce the time spent searching for a location to fit individual needs and parameters. By placing one call to me, we can evaluate your need and provide, and coordinate if asked, the appropriate temporary living facility.
So, if you’re moving to Portland from out of state, I can be your resource on many fronts. Sign up for HomeQuest, send me an e-mail at blackmarl@hasson.com or call me at 1-503-534-1547. |

Warm up to your guests!
One of the most important things you can do this time of year to sell your home is make it as warm and cozy as possible. Don't "chill-out" those possible buyers. Keep the temperature comfortable and add a touch of spice. The smell of cinnamon or apple cider can do wonders.
Remember: It's the little things that make your home stand out. |
